Yamaha 750 Maxim

My Yamaha 750 Maxim is for sale, imported & UK registered in year 2000 and still in the original factory specification with the exception of the silencer and mirrors. The Google reviews praise these "early" air cooled models as good all rounders and they are quite rare as they were only produced for a couple of years prior to going the bulkier water cooled route with styling changes, most being sold to America and Canada during the developing cruiser markets of the early eighties. These bikes have the benefit of the well proven and reliable FZ750 engine, a low maintenance shaft drive, excellent handling, a good turn of speed when needed with the well proportioned low set seat being really comfortable for both rider and pillion and a sensibly sized fuel tank. Feeling light for a 4 cylinder 750 (even though it shares many parts with the bigger XJ900) its not intimidating and is easy to wheel around and place on either its centre stand or side stand so it would suit a novice rider looking to step up to a bigger bike or perhaps somebody looking to come down from a larger heavier bike but still have big bike performance. The MOT runs until April 2016 and the V5 is registered in my name at my home address, the speedometer shows less than 33000 kilometres (20,000 miles approx) and although I'm not able to guarantee the mileage, what history I have and given this bikes general overall condition for an older original bike, it certainly indicates the recorded distance covered is accurate. So if you are after a good looking and fairly rare fun cruiser that's well built (even the side panels are metal), it qualifies for classic bike insurance, is capable of taking you and your passenger either cruising, touring or for one of those early Sunday morning blasts that are so tempting when the roads are empty, this bike might well be the bike you never knew you wanted. I would consider a deal on a British or Italian bike of 500cc or over so please E.mail or call me (all texts will be ignored) with any possibilities.
